Sengkang Hockey StadiumThe Sengkang Hockey Stadium serves the residents of Sengkang, a new suburb in the north-eastern part of Singapore. Sengkang Hockey Stadium is part of the Sengkang Sports Centre.
HistorySituated in Sengkang New Town, a relatively young satellite residential town, Sengkang Hockey Stadium is part of the newly opened Sengkang Sports Centre. The Sengkang Sports Centre houses a community club, swimming pools, indoor sports hall, gymnasium, dance studio, and retail and eating outlets.
Equipped with two new pitches, Sengkang Hockey Stadium was one of the hosts of the Men’s Junior World Cup in June 2009.
